The DVD was set to record a programme prior to full digital switchover in North West (early Dec 2009). The programme failed to record, the clock display froze at 20.00. Upon switching off and on again the display disappeared altogether and it wont respond to any commands; in brief it is switched on - stanby light illuminated - but nothing is working.
