How can I fix my washer?

My kenmore series 80 washer shuts off when it hits the spin cycle, and does not drain. What should I do?

Hello,

It sounds like you have a bad lid switch. No drain or spin, just a dead washer during these modes is most likely the switch. If you close the door very softly see if you can hear the switch click. If not, its probably bad.
