Beko WMB10W?

Hi again. our beko washing machine is draining etc but the drum wont turn! i have checked the drum and thats ok also the belt is fine... i have taken the motor off and had a look at the brushes ...they are about a cm or so long and one has little chunks missing for the edge...do you think i should try new brushes before trying anything else?? many thanks

many thanks for that ck.. i did what you suggested with the brushes and now the drum is spinning again... i have ordered brushes and now hopefully the piles of washing will soon disappear...many thanks

stretch the carbon bit of the brushes by gentally pulling them outwards to extend there length.refit and see if the motor rotates.if it does buy new brushes straight away as old brushes could cause serious damage to motor long term.If it still doesn't spin after stretching brushes you could have a faulty motor or a faulty control pcb
