surely there in difference between "time" and "date"
....the questioner wanted to know how set date and not time.

Press on "Program" button, then on "Mute" then on "6" and enter time (for example for 9:24 AM enter 0924). You can also press "#' to select AM PM or 24 hour format. Press "Program" again to save.
