What is the fault with my Indesit WG1130T?

The motor, belt and belt pulley all turn but the drum doesn't. What is the cause? Is it possibly the shaft connecting the pulley and drum and is it worth repairing as the machine is 7 years old?

if you turn the drum by hand and hold the pulley at the back , do they turn together if not then your spindle could be cracked
