flame failure or condense drain blocked?

treid to reset twice stilll not working turned it off

In this very cold weather, many condensing boilers suffer from the condensate pipe freezing. It's quite often too skinny, and unlagged, though still adequate for more normal temperatures. Clearly, a bigger diameter pipe doesn't block as easily.
Anyway, you can easily test if it's blocked with ice by pouring a kettle of very hot water over the length of the pipe to melt the ice blockage, easily done (till the next time!)

if condense is not less than 3m long and not 32mm as it should be, or is a long shallow run then maybe the condense has frozen........ people often fit smaller pipe as it is cheaper & neater..........
