what is causing the problem?

I have a worcester bosch 532i combi boiler,
when you run hot water for a while (eg shower) the flow temp continues rising until it hits 94 then the boiler cuts off.you then have to wait till flow temp drops right down before it will fire up again, water stat only at number 3,
heating running ok,
do i need a new stat for the water

don't think that will be a problem with the temp sensor, as it seems to be displaying the correct temp. i think it may be a fault with the pcb not telling the fan to modulate down to maintain the water temp at 60.
usually if sensor is faulty it would display a fault code.
