I have a 1.5 bowl kitchen sink, fitted Feb 09. The half bowl has a combination strainer and plug. When in the strainer position, no water drains out.
If I lift this out I get bubbles and it starts to drain, sometime stopping before the bowl is empty.
If it stops, I can make it drain again by putting the plug in and taking out again.

Any suggestions?

check the pipes under the sink kinks etc
strip clean out the pipes
strip clean the traps/u bends

flow should now be improved
