laptop will not come on?

my laptop will not come on. the battery light keeps flashing even when charger is plugged in. i left charger on for over an hour but still no luck. battery light flashes about 5 times then goes off

Hi, your charger might be broken, or have you got it plugged in properly? The connection from the charger to the battery might be lose. Check all this first....
If you have had this for less than 5 years you can go for your Statutory Rights 1974 Sale of Goods Act....you send a letter to the manufacturers saying you want a repair or a replacement battery. (Not sure whats what if you are in the other countries). You will need a receipt....
If this is not the case, you can pick up a second hand battery charger for about £20....or look out for cheap universal replacement battery for the cheaper outlets. In UK Lidl etc., I picked up second hand one for a HP PC. Good luck. : )
