Baumatic BDW13 does not start cycle?

Hi, my dishwasher starts the initial part of the cylce, i.e the first drain and then it stops and a humming noise is coming from the base of the right hand bottom part of the dishwasher.

Mine did the same. I stripped it down and found a flap had broken off in the pump. It is the flap that regulates the flow for 1/2 load. It is accesible by unscrewing the bottom spay bar and pipe below it and bottom rear panel. The pump can then be rotated to allow access to a solenoid on the side. Remove the 4 screws and found loose flap inside. Put back together. Still had E£ fault. Found 90degC temperature trip had gone. Replaced this (KSD201? - £12) and working great, just no 1/2 load function (never used it anyway!)

Just had a firm come round and they reckon it is the washer pump which is about 185 quid and the most expensive thing in the machine. Baumatic seemed to think it was the same problem when I called them.

Have you managed to fix it yet?
Mine is the same model and is acting in the same manner.
On the rinse cycle, it pums away the water, allows water into the bottom of the washer and then starts to hum.
I'm thinking it could be a stuck recirculation/washer motor or pump ????
