computer won`t send signal to monitor?

Hi Alfie, as I don't know your skill level don't be offended if you've tried this already. Are you sure you've got the cable from your PC to your monitor in the right connection? If the signal was working with the cable your using before then this might be your problem. Alternatively the connections on one end of the cable you are using might be damaged. If you can get a cable you know is working and try this it will rule out a problem with the cable. Have you recently added a new graphics card to your machine? If yes, then make sure you're now using the connection from this new card rather than the old one. Without knowing if this was working and then stopped or was never working makes it harder to suggest anything else. I hope this helps.
