i have a hoover fridge freezer, the green lite is on and it is making noises louder than usual the freezer has defrosted itself and hasnt worked since the fridge is currently working but it is ittermitant sometimes it goes off and then gets really cold again, any ideas

hi i have the same problem with my hotpoint fridge. i have been told it could be the thermostat. i will check this and see may be worth you trying the same
