Goodmans 42" Plasma tv turning itself off every 5 mins?

Hi, i hope someone can help me please? My Goodmans 42" Plasma tv keeps switching itself off and going into standby every 5 mins? The tv is about 4 years old. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks
