This is not an answer but if you have the same problem and you manage to find a supplier of spare parts for these type of appliances please let me know "who and where"
I also have another appliance -- a Bread maker -- with exactly the same problem -- broken plastic gears -- which is also stood waiting for me to find a supplier of spares, with no luck as yet
