FA is a fault detected with the Optical Water Indicator. Which is nice, because this machine hasn't got one....... Basically it's a fill level control issue. Two possibilities - the Water Indicator in the sump isn't working properly is the first one. Remove all the filters and look into the sump. There is a black grid at about the 3 o'clock position. This has a bad habit of filling up with muck and goo and preventing the rubber diaphragm behind from moving. You can often see the white fat deposits in the grid. An attack with a toothbrush and very hot water will often clear it. Secondly is the flow meter. This is in the water matrix located under the left hand side panel. Poor contacts at the little pcb are common. Often a good clean and a pinch of the connector will solve the problem. Bear in mind though that each of these individual problems should bring up their own fault codes - it is possible (though not often) that the computer has lost the plot.

No easy solution - stay safe and make sure that the power is off if you intend to do this yourself.
