Nissan Almera Brake lights?

When the brake pedal is pressed the car stops, but the brake lights do not come on. Bulbs and fuse replaced, but still no joy. All other parts work OK.
Any ideas?

Check the switch that is operated by the brake pedal. May just need adjusting, may need the connections pushing back on, or may need the switch itself replacing if it is faulty.
