Hi Peter , Fistly , check fuse in plug , if ok then check lead , if ok check to see if cover can be removed if so unplug from mains , remove cover and check to see if set has fuse inside , if yes replace with fuse of the same amperage and voltage if it is blown , if no fuse found then the fault is within the power suply inside the set it will proberbly be a switch mode power suply ( in other words no mains transformer ) if this is the case it will need to be taken to a shop for repair . P.S always make sure that the aplience is unpluged from the mains before any atempt to remove its cover hope this helps
