When I power on the machine, the drain pump is always on. It drains the water faster than it can fill, so I effectively cannot use the machine.

The last fault code was #37. The pump isn't blocked; the pressure tube is clear; and the pump resistance is ok.

Any ideas on what is causing the drain pump motor to always be on, and how to fix?

Why would pump be on? - Because it has power going to it.
What supplies the power? - The control module.
Why would power be supplied by the controller permanently? - Because it is faulty. Replace the controller.
