baxi 105e boiler gone off due to low pressure fault?

help,my 105e has been losing pressure and has now given up the ghost, its only 2 yr old,i had a new diaphragm or sumit fitted abt 2 month ago cos it was going above 3 bar and blowing out all the pressure, this morning the heating was on but with no pressure i think and has gone off altogether,it has the low pressure/pump fault indicator flashing now, tried a reset but it wont ignite when heating or h/water is turned on

I have the same problem, if I pressurize the system to 1bar and leave over night its still on 1bar, if i put the heating on it rises to 3bar and in the morning no pressure, any advice.

Cheers

the problem could be that the expansion vessel has lost its air charge, the indication is that when the heating is on the pressure rises to 3 bar then water is disscharged from the pressure relief to outside. Top your system up to 1 bar using the filling loop then turn the heating on and watch the pressure gauge if it rises to 3 barish then it is a safe bet that it is the expansion vessel.

Hi Jamie
It sounds like you have a leak somewhere on your system and that the boiler is losing pressure. As a short term fix if the filling loop is still connected you could top up the system. If it is cold only top it up to one bar. Look around you raidiators to see if there is any rust showing. This may indicate a leak. If nothing then try a leak stopping flued from any good plumbers merchant. You may need to get a plumber to get it in to your system.
