I called Insinkerator, my upper casting has a hair line crack in it. they told me it was out of warr. 0608 were the 1st. 4 digits. that tells me it was made in june 2008. I bought it about 14 months ago at Home Depot. the rep. I spoke with said the date it was made is August 2006. (reversed #'s ???) Hummmmm!!! sounds strange to me. can anyone answer this one?
