Disassembly of GE 26928GE2 cordless phone?

Hello, I am looking to disassemble my phone in order to clean the keypad but can't figure out how. I removed the two screws in the battery compartment but the two halves are still tight and don't respond to prying. Is there another screw below the 900 MHz nameplate? Thanks for the help!

Hi Al, I have a similar phone (Sony 900MHZ) and same problem, can't see how the nameplate comes off and don't want to break it trying. Did find a site that will sell service schematics/service manuals for 10-15$ but since I got the phone at a garage sale for 3$ I guess Ill live with the lame keypad.
Sony refuses to supply any service information. Like the rest of the new era business brain trusts, it's all about the money, screw the consumer. They want to make it impossible to fix anything. Sad state. The company I retired from builds business equipment that might last 5 years now. When I started there I was working on stuff that was 50+ years old and then the bean counters took over. Just look where it has gotten this country today. Its all about the money.
