there is a small fuse on the left rear side, you must take the cd/radio player out to access this., you can test with a light see if power is there... have a tech person do this if you can............does the system have a face plate (control buttons)that turns sideways to allow removal of the cd?? such as a kenwood?? this generally occurs when the vehicle ignition switch is turned on/off??? sounds like you may have a cd caught inside, sometimes this happens when the system is exposed to high temps, things warp........other than that, could be the switch inside, best to have someone bench it and check for you.....................disassembly takes about 5-10 minutes to check.............
