Try lifting the handle and turning the key to lock it when the door is open. If it locks O.K then it is simply the multi point locks that aren't locating properly in the keep acceptors on the fixed frame side. You will need to adjust the position or compretion of the keeps.
If the key won't turn when the door is open and handle has been lifted to the top then it is either the clinder barrel or the multi point lock mechanism that has failed. If you remove the cylinder barrel (the part the key goes into) from the door then it can be tested. You remove it by removing a screw that holds it in from the side on the long metal strip that runs up the side of the door. You then insert the key and turn it slowley pulling it at the same time. If the key turns freely in the cylinder when it is out of the door then it is the multi point lock that has failed.
