downgraded from vista and lost 233mb ram?

hi, i recently downgraded my pc (formatted it then loaded xp pro)

i have lost 233mb of ram and internet gaming has become impossible.

is there any way i can get this ram from somewhere on the computer and how can i speed it up to how it was before

this all depends on whether your computer is 64bit or 32bit if it was running vista 64bit befor you downgraded and you installed a 32bit version of xp pro this is why you will have lost your memory as 32bit op systems made by microsoft I.E windows will only see upto 4GB of RAM if you have more than that in your ststem then this is why you have noticed the drop. to gain it back install a 64bit windows.

well i had 1gb of ram registered on the pc

now its says theres 767mb ...

You can't lose RAM by fiddling with software. RAM is physical memory - it plugs in to sockets on the PC's motherboard.

What makes you think that you have "lost 233mb of ram" ?

If you have lost some RAM capacity you have fault with the PC but I suspect that is not actually the case.
