i recently fitted a new engine in my escort van i left the bottem lockin pin in the engine and turned the engine over and snaped the pin the broken lockin pin has fell into the sump will the broken peice of lockin pin be all right in the sump

no it won't you'll have to remove sump otherwise you'll end up with engine damage again.
