I have an LG dvd/vhs combo unit (about 14 mths old) which keeps failing to finalise my disks and turns them into coasters. I notice it records the 1st session & when trying the next session it tells me that disk has failed. If I record the complete disk "one time", it works but then fails to finalise. I noticed that the casing seems to be getting a lot warmer than when I 1st got it but having a fan blowing over it & keeping it cool also did not help. I also noticed that it seems to make more noise than when new. Does ANYONE know of another way to finalise the disks as the info has been written on the disks & what the problem is/how to fix it?
