Changed the fuel filter as it seemed like it wasnt getting the fuel it needed. This didnt fix it though. Any ideas? Maybe something to do with injector pump?

There is a water separator it looks like a small filter on the R/H side of the engine further forward than the fuel filter, you will see an on/off tap on the pipework to it and there is a 90 degree fitting connects it to the filter head, take this fitting off and check for a blockage inside it as this is the most likely place for a blockage to be found.

I had same problem with my 7740.I changed the hand primer over the fuel filter and that fixed it.It was sucking air.
