When my fuel tank locking cap is locked in position the central locking goes mad- on and off. I have used WD40 but it hasn`t worked. In the end I`ve had to leave it off the car which exposes the fuel tank and is dangerous (if not illegal).

Any solutions would be greatfully recieved. Cheers, Dave.
