How to fix my Zanussi Frost Free ZX99/3 Fridge Freezer?

Why won't this fridge freezer reach the required temperature. I had an engineer out and was told there was nothing wrong with it. When you place a dish of water in the freezer it only freezes the top half. We have cleaned the section underneath but it is still not functioning properly. It is about 5 years old. Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Be aware you will get a bill for £100 upwards to solve this so make sure you wouldn't be better off buying a new one in the long run!

thanks very much I will get in contact with a Zanussi engineer

this is very hard to answer without stripping out and testing parts.there are sensor probes, heaters, fans and any of these will cause the fault.poor compressor or lack of refridgerant will also cause problem. No easy fix and no disrespect to engineer but it is a bit specialist to diagnose these correctly even Zanussi engineers struggle
