Push button cistern leaks from lid when refilling!?
I have a push button cistern that when it refills squirts water vertically at the lid of the cistern. This causes the cistern to leak from the lid until it has completed refilling. Is there a missing part? The pipe that the water refills from has a small cap with a washer and a hole in but this does not slow or redirect the water as it refills.
