i have a capriani soft ice cream machine, it came with the ice cream van i have bought, it is a floor standing one, the problem is i think there are parts missing, also i know there is a leak in the gas section, so if i get it regased then it will leak again, how do i find out where the leak is and how di i fix it

You need to put a dye in the oil and run machine for a while then check with ultra violet light this will show where the leak is. It could be inside the foam somewhere which requires further investigation.
