Can you help?

Thank you so much guys!!! I was just about to buy a new washing machine but Mark's tip saved me lots of money:)

Would definitely advise to check this first before calling an expensive plumber....

I've just repaired the same fault, Saturday night in a panic when the error appeared and the machine stopped. Ten mins to repair all systems go again. Thanks for the answer.

I have to add my thanks to Mark - exactly the same problem and solved just as described. Spent days fiddling with the water inlet trying to solve the problem as well!
Thanks a lot.

Thanks for the info. Looked for the hole in the pipe as you described, however my problem was easier to find...the inlet where the pipe connects into the diaphragm had snapped off! Managed to clean it and glue it back on.

Hi Mark,

you are the best! You save me a lot of money!
That was exactly the same on my Samsung!

With best regards from Germany

exactly the same problem, this is the white pipe behind the display panel

Hi I have just had the same problem and found that there was a hole in the white pipe that runs up to a diaphram. this stops the air pressure from building up and gives you the e4 error code.
luckily the hole in my pipe was very close to the end so i didnt even need to replce the pipe just cut it a bit shorter and pushed it back in place.
