i took my cuckoo clock down to paint the walls and now it will not run. i start the pendalum and it just stops. I laid it on its back very gently when i took it down.

Try Leveling your clock on the wall. If it still doesn't run move the base slightly left and try again. If nothing then move slightly further left. If it still doesn't run go back to level and start the process to the right. Good luck
