Samsung HT z310?

The volume keeps getting lower after unit is on for awhile. The speaker wires are ok

I also have the same problems you mention. Started just after the 12 months inital warranty had expired!! So couldn't exchange it. Have looked up about this DVD player and found lots of owners with lots of problems. So, my conclusion is that the SAMSUNG HTZ30 is not a good and durable DVD player.

I have a very cheap 8 year old DVD player which has been knocked around, dropped, dented and it still plays any DVD, VCD, DVR, CD or just about anything you ask it to play - even soiled and scratched DVD.

Samsung?? Never again.

My problem is that the DVD play dosn't always read the disc properly. Sometimes get a NO Disc error, or it ejects the disc automatically, or sometimes will start playing ok and then freeze. I have tried cleaning the heads using a disc clearer (sometimes it wont even reckonize the clening disc). The DVD player is about 18months old. I did apply the code to make it region free (Region 2 originally). it worked ok for a few months until the read problem appeared. not sure if the problem its related to this. Are the codes to reset the DVD to it original settings? Any help will be welcome.
