Hi, You should be able to take the two screws out that are positioned above and below the inside handle and then take the handle off to see if the square spindle is turning in the lock or if it is worn, if it is turning the mechanism then I imagine the lock is broken inside, it might be worth trying taking the pins out of the hinges on the door to see if the door will move enough to get it out otherwise I can see it will be a right pain.
