This oil-fired boiler is run on a timed programme. It is a powerful and efficient boiler WHEN IT WORKS! It is about ten years old. Lately it sometimes does not fire up at all but instead lights up the big red button at the bottom which, when pressed, surges the boiler into life. Sometimes it heats just the radiators, sometimes nothing at all. My usual engineer has checked it over but is at a loss. Any suggestions?
