2004 Ford Focus Estate need Audio Code?

I had to change out the battary on my 2004 Ford Focus Estate and, yes, I now need the audio code for my sound system. I believe the serial number for the radio is: M148195. Can anyone help me?

As dc says Jeff, you will need to remove the radio from the dash and look on the body of the radio to find the serial number. It's easy after that.

Thanks Bigh for your help but, it didn't work. I probably don't have the correct serial number. I've pressed and held "6" while pressing "1" and get nothing. I tried pressing and holding "6" while pressing "2" and I got a long string of numbers. Thinking "That couldn't be it!" I popped the anti-theft device out (digits 2-5 on the pre-set station pad) and there on a white sticky is the number "148195" written by hand. I was speculating that this was the previous owner's attempt to record the radio serial number. If it is, then it is missing a letter prefix (I believe) so I guessed (based on other research) that it would be "M". Are there other letters which Ford uses? What do you recommend now?? Thanks VERY much!

Try to read a serial number that is placeed on a right side of your stereo unit(try to pull out your stereo unit).

9025 is the code for that serial number Jeff. If you're not certain of the serial don't try the code more than once or twice as you will lock it up after 10 attempts and then it costs money.
