what causes ice to form on small area on back wall of fridge? machine is strying to defrost most of time?

if you are getting an ice spot and the whole back isn't freezing evenly,you most likely have a gas issue or compressor issue.the other thing to check is push on the back wall and if it is very springy it has blown away from the insulation.Both above issues are scrapping it based on repair cost being very high.SORRY!
