how to remove semi pedestal basin?

the semi-pedestal of our wash hand basin has been attached to the tiles with silicon. we now have a leaking pipe and need to remove the pedestal. does any have any ideas how i can do this without damaging the pedestal or the tiles

You can get silicone remover from Screwfix or B&Q but its slow working. Best advice is to carefully cut the silicone with a stanley knife as deep as you can them prize off carefully. Good luck.
