how to find leak in ch system?

what is the easiest and most cost effective way to find if i have leak in ch system.i have pipes to rads which run under big floor boarding.the reason i ask is my boiler has problems holding good pressure.i have had most parts changed and the boiler has been vituelly re-built.it has been doing this for 3 years but was told by various plumbers that if i had a leak somewhere it would show thru by now,is this true.

whenever pipes are installed/run under floorboards provision should always be made to allow pipe inspection via screwed down removable boards, or even a trap door installed on (ground floor only) , I've knocked many a hole through in the base wall to give me access to other rooms when the customer don't want surface run pipes (pipes that can be seen)
