Berlingo 2003 1.4 Petrol Radiator Fan Switch Location?

Can anyone tell me where my radiator fan swtich is? I had a very stiff/seized radiator fan motor - replaced it with new as fan wasn't cutting in and guage on dash would go in to red and say STOP! - engine overheating. The new fan hasn't solved the problem - the 20amp fuse is ok so someone said check the radiator fan switch - but can't see it on the radiator, so I wonder where it's located? Any ideas?

I now have the very same problem on a 2008 1400 Berlingo Van petrol.
Fan was siezed solid it became apparrent on its first MOT ie it boiled over last week.
WD 40 unsiezed the fan but it was still inop.
New fan (wierd) was totally different, much flimsier, blades set from right to left not left to right, but it did fit into the housing.
OK I thought , Fit the replacement fan , and if it pulled and not pushed, well ok I can reverse the pos neg? SO I fitted the piece of shxt replacement , packed out the housing with some of the cardboard packageing that the fan came in, got it spinning without fouling the shroud , and proceeded to run it up to temp.
NO GOOD
after getting to a decent temp , on the hottest July day of 2013 22/07/2013 I decided to disconnect the temp gauge switch. After 5 or 10 seconds the fan cut in and the temp gauge went straight up into the red.
fan continued running unless I re connected the temp gauge.
WHAT CAN I DO TO GET THE RAD FAN WORKING AS IT SHOULD???
OH I MUST SAY that the engine management light is now on all the time and STOP is flashing all the time . BUT at least i,m not overheating, as long as I keep the temp gauge switch disconnected.
SO CAN ANY ONE HELP ?
Must say I'm not optomistic as no one seems to have answered this thread in years
