overheating ?

my 02 plate 206 keeps over heating but has plenty of coolant do you have any idea why

Coolant is pumped through the radiator - perhaps this is not happening.

A thermostat switch senses the temperature of the coolant and activates a fan as required - perhaps this is not happening.
