Am having trouble with ballcock mechanism leaking, have replaced the washer a bit better but water still trickling out. Also water is trickling into the pan, have tried getting the flushing unit out to check for debris but can not and dont know how. I would be very grateful if there is anyone that could advise me.

There is adjustment on the ball cock arm Undo the locknut turn the small adjustment shaft towards the inlet valve washer plunger to shut off the water earlier This will shut the water off earlier so keeping it below the internal overflow. Re-adust if necessary when ok re-tighten locknut.
