I have a Hair brand refridge how do I know which brand thermostat to buy. Is there a universal thermostat that can fit to it?

If you ask for a Ranco VT9 it will be correct and on your fridge there should be three wires, live, motor and earth. The earth you obviously connect to the metal body of the stat and the other two connect to terminals 4 and 6 and it does not matter which way round, if you have more wires than this please email me for advice.
