i have just bought a Matsui tv and a Toshiba dvd/video combi. I get a great picture on both digital and analoge tv, but when I try to play a video I get a message saying no signal,even though the scart cable is brand new!

what channell are you useing to look at the video/dvd , on the tv? is it AV 1 ect? you could try putting a video in and start to play" then go to any blank or spare channel on your tv , and use your remote to search/scann in(manual mode) for the video your playing, when you find it , press save" on the remote, and that can be your new dvd/video channell .
