My Ariston fridge freezer is only 3 years old. It packed up completely. The mains is feeding through but it the machine is simple completely dead....no light or any sound. I called someone claiming to be an engineer and was told that he believed the "motherboard" is gone! Is there such a thing as a motherboad, as though it was a computer. If it does exist, where is it situated? Thanks you all for helping.
