We have a an AEG 86070Vi dishwasher & last weekend it began beeping with the error code ,20. So I looked in the problem solving section of the manual, took the front & pump off & found the problem a cocktail stick was stuck in the pump! Everthing worked just fine for a week untill we used it yesterday, we went out and when we came back we thought that it had finished its cycle (WRONG!). There was water laying in the bottom and there were NO LIGHTS on the display (strange). So I checked the fuse, checked the socket, had the front panell off and NO LEAKS at all, everything looked ok but the dishwasher is DEAD!. Any ideas as to whats gone wrong? Dave.

no power to control pcb assuming the wall socket outlet and fuse on dishwasher is good would be either a faulty on/off switch (if seperate to pcb) or a faulty pcb.outside chance of a faulty door switch
