Bosch Exxel 1400 washing machine skipping spin cycle?

Our Bosch Exxel 1400 washing machine is making a very poor/slow attempt at spinning, but the timer simply flips from the pre-spin count-down time (e.g. 11 mins) to 1 min without attempting to spin properly. It is pumping out OK; I've just de-scaled the pump. I am wondering if some anti-vibration switch has tripped and it's avoiding this part of the cycle. Any ideas from anyone? Thanks.

The problem is the carbon brushes in the motor, they are worn down. Easy to replace, just keep an eye on the angle when the old are removed. £35 for original Bosch but alternative available at £10. Google on Google videos and there are a couple of good videos showing how to replace.

I've got exactly the same problem. I don't think its a faulty motor though cos the max energy is for accelerating a full drum of washing from rest and I've tried an empty drum and still no luck. I did get some improvement from emptying the pump filter chamber but just like you, I think its a dodgy vibration trip switch. My next experiment is to bipass the sensor (when I find it).

sounds like your motor is faulty not enough energy from it to spin.
