What is the problem when my gainsborough electric shower doesn't heat the water? The shower isolator switch is showing on.

I have the same problem, I bought my gainsborough 8.5 E shower 4 years ago, and it has been working fine until today when I turned it on, the water stayed cold and doesnt heat up any more. I have checked everything, even opened the box and all the wires are fine. Any idea what is wrong? is it the element in the main shower unit gone, and I need a new shower?

1. Check electric is turned on
2. Check trip on your Consumer Panel. (Fuse Board).
3. Check you have enough water pressure.

I have got the same problem. My shower is 5 years old in a spare bathroom that his hardly been used.
I have checked suply and mains isolator.
I am going to buy a new shower.
