DW907 Zanussi dishwasher - it isn't draining!?

My dishwasher has dirty water at the bottom of it and it is not draining. We have syphoned the water out, but can't find why it isn't draining. Can someone please give me some non-techical advice on what to do, please?

Depending on the age of your dishwasher.
Zanussi changed the drain system on newer machines, but found that it was unreliable. They are replacing the faulty parts FOC for the older part which it replaced. I hope this helps
